Bleach Dub Episode 1
Overall I will give the dub of this episode a 9.5/10

I watched both the Japanese and English version at the same time and I have come to a few conclusions. First off, Rukia's voice matches perfectly. I could not be happier about it. The dialogue is pretty good, and the lips match for the most part. Ichigo sounds to nice. He needs to be a bit more gruff if you ask me. Then all of the other voices matched very well. I am glad that they kept the original opening and closing songs. Although, I am not pleased with how they did not translate everything Japanese for us like fandubs do (textwise that is). But what are you going to do?

Bleach episode 95
Well. I am sitting here staring at my keyboard wondering how to go about this and start to write my first blog. I am going to start with some news I suppose, then go into the summary for yesterday's episode. So here it goes. (Heh, do you remember how your old English teachers always told you not to write that kind of transition.)
------
News:
-Websites now out for the dub.
> Adult Swim
> YTV (Canada)
I was pleased with both sites, not bad for such a wonderful series.
-Single out for current opener "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight"
Good Song. Need I say more?
-----
This episode started with a recap of the last few episodes with an Ichigo voice over as always. Then you see Byakua walking through the forest approaching on none other then Kariya Jin. They have a violent conversation and then it cuts to the episode screen which seems to be Byakuya's bankai sakuras. And with a flash step from Byakuya the battle is off. It starts with Byakuya striking at Kariya, but he only manages a scratch. Then some flash steps and hits to one another. Dialogue follows with how Byakuya will cut down Kariya's doll. The only thing is Kariya is yet even to show his doll. Cue the creepy "Bounto" music. A series of exploding hits follws. Kariya then praises how Byakuya can keep up with him and Byakuya asks his motives. His answer is a bit more praising, and also why Rukia was hurt. Then Byakuya answers "I shall cut anyone who threatens the soul society." And back to the discussion of who will die. And we get to see Byakuya's (pretty/pansyish) first release! Kariya comes out with one of the cherry blossoms in his hand. He was not hurt in the least bit. Then Kariya shows off his wind technique and Byakuya seems to be trapped between four whirlwind closing in him. Cut to some really artsy frames in which look like either animation boards or manga panels, either way they are black and white still pictures, and they are lapping over eachother to create a dramatic effect. After that you see Byakuya use various "Destructive arts" for blue thunder to counter the wind, and Kariya explains why his wind is the perfect counter for Byakuya's technique. And with one final strike that is the end of the first half of this episode. Then Ichigo shows up to where Byakuya and Kariya are. He tells Ririn to go off to the side so she wouldn't get hurt. Byakuya tells Ichigo that he will be his enemy if he interferes. But like Ichigo listens. Then Kariya heals himself and powers up. Ichigo shows off his bankai and fights with Kariya at a very fast pace for a while. Then Byakuya fires his bankai at them. Both of them come out without a scratch. And there were some random things with Ganju, Chad, and Orihime, but those were inconsequential.

And The Blog Opens...
Hi.

Just so you know, Mokona no blog (roughly) means "Mokona Blog" "no" is just a transition word in japanese. Well Mokona is a CLAMP character, and i love CLAMP's work, so I named my anime blog after them. So original am I not?

My (online) name is Saruko. I have been watching anime on my computer now for a while and I do read a few blogs regularly. I do enjoy reading them quite much and I do have a personal xanga, and myspace blog which I used to keep track of. But Now I am going to try anime blogging. It will only be for 2, perhaps 3 series for now, due to not a LOT of extra time, but some. It won't have pictures as far as I know, yet. And most of the series will be pretty common. I normally watch subs, so it may be a bit late, and the one show I do watch raw is always a few days late to download, not to mention I hardly get the idea of what happens in the dialogue. But I am learning. I do not mind if you think my blog sucks, but that is because I am new to anime blogging. So read if you enjoy my style. Don't if you don't. Got it? Good.

Now for the series I plan on doing:
- Bleach.
-Tsubasa Chronicles.
and maybe - Saiyuki Reload Gunlock.

Bleach - Bleach is a controversial series about Ichigo Kurosaki a high school student, and "substitute shinigami." It has a very Strong western influence in some of the opening and ending songs, and sprinkled throughout the series. For instance, the current opening song (but not for much longer) is "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" by the Beat Crusaders, and it is entirely in English. The series comes to American TV on adult swim on Saturday, September 9. I will make comments on the Dub compared to the sub if it is appropite.

Tsubasa: RESERVior CHRoNiCLE - (also refers to as TRC)Tsubasa: RESERVior CHRoNiCLE is a wonderful series by the famous Manga-ka group CLAMP. This is the one series that I will blog blindly. Well, I will be bloging this straight from the raws, so please correct me if I get some things wrong. I can only read Japanese, not understand or talk it. But on the plus side I will have some occasional manga scans, and you can always put it through an online translator such as google. I am really excited to start this series, because although there is a lot on the web about it, there isn't much stuff that is up-to-date.
For more, including loose fanbase see: http://www.tsubasachronicle.net/

Saiyuki Reload Gunlock - This series is a triquil(?) to Gensomaden Saiyuki. A sequel to Saiyuki reload. It is a story based on the old Chinese legend "Journey to the west." I will not be bloging this often, only when a new episode comes out from the fansubbers. This is one of my favorite series in the world due to Son Goku. I will also occasionally post manga scans from "Zero Sum" which I also buy in Japanese, there is a bunch of cute stuff in there.
For more see: http://gunlock.artificial-soul.net/

And with that I have provided summaries and stated my mission. I will backlog a few posts of Bleach, TRC, and Saiyuki Reload Gunlock when I find the time, before I start with the most recent stuff. And also, I apologize if any information is incorrect or misspelled, heck I will spell noninformation wrong. But please, correct me as much as you can and I will eventually get the hang of spelling things right, which will be a big step for me, trust me.
